An opportunity for tikkun olam

In conjunction with the URJ Community Shabbat being held at
Temple Sinai on Friday, July 30, Second Helpings - Temple Sinai's
food rescue program - has arranged for a truck from the North
Fulton Community Charities to be present to receive donations before
our Erev Shabbat service at Temple Sinai on Friday, July 30th. It
is our hope that every worshipper, from each respective
congregation, would bring one bag of groceries to the service to
donate to help those in need.

There are only seven (7) items that we are asking for:
Peanut Butter Boxed Cereal Spaghetti Sauce
Canned Meats Canned Pasta 1 lb bag of dried beans
1 lb bag of rice
Anyone who donates a bag of food will receive a free reusable
cloth shopping bag, courtesy of Publix. This food drive is just one
more way that we can make our URJ Shabbat weekend a meaningful one.
