You are invited to the Inaugural Meeting of the
B'nai Torah Israel Advocacy Committee
Making B'nai Torah a center for Pro-Israel Activism
There are tremendous challenges confronting Israel and America, and
there is a critical role for the pro-Israel community in America to
play in securing the U.S.-Israel relationship. That is why we are
working to establish a B'nai Torah Israel Advocacy Committee to lead
our synagogue's pro-Israel advocacy efforts.
This committee will be at the forefront of all future B'nai
Torah activities related to strengthening our relationship with
Israel as a synagogue and a community.
During this meeting we will discuss our priorities and motivations
for Israel activism, plan future synagogue based Israel events,
and brainstorm ideas for us as a community to have a real impact
on the U.S. - Israel relationship.
This could translate to meetings with our Congressional
representatives, private briefings with experts or other types
of educational activities that we decide to pursue.
Your participation and suggestions are essential to making this
committee a success and more importantly creating the opportunity
for our voices to be heard.
